Hannah Monroe has a Master’s of Arts in Critical Sociology from Brock University, where her thesis research involved interviewing young adults on the autism spectrum about their identities and perspectives on autism. She became interested in disability advocacy and supporting neurodiverse people before starting her Master’s degree, while working at Atlanta Legal Aid Society in their Disability Integration Project. There she conducted intake and case management for people with disabilities and helped organize an Americans with Disabilities Act anniversary event. Since completing her Master’s degree, she has been working in the field of supporting people on the autism spectrum and is returning to school this year to complete her Master’s of Social Work. She is excited to bring her intake experience and her interest in neurodiversity to her work with Dori Zener & Associates.
